Friday we dig the space and we placed the foundations, pouring some concrete into it and Saturday was bricklaying day, getting some old bricks from my neighbour. Attended Easter mass on Sunday and finished adding the coping to the wall. I was very glad with the effort and the result. But this is just the start of a long design project. Anyone want to help? After neglecting the garden for two months I needed to tidy it up and buy some new plants. The old plants needed to be resited as they had grown very big and they were crowding each other and some others were in need of pruning. I also cut the front hedge quite drastically so I won't need to touch it until June or July. However, the garden still need a lot of things to be done in the next few weeks. Oh, forgot to cut the grass ! The picture shows one of the trees in the garden that is in bloom. It only remains like this for two or three days. |
